Tony Ferguson, Fabricio Werdum have to be separated at UFC 216 media lunch

UFC 216  is nine days away, but two fighters looked ready to go during Thursday’s media lunch in Los Angeles. UFC lightweight contender  Tony Ferguson  and former heavyweight champion  Fabricio Werdum  sat down to talk to the media in Los Angeles, and “El Cucuy” didn’t like when “Vai Cavalo” started to talk to a reporter while he was answering a question. “Hold on, I’m talking, brother,” Ferguson told Werdum. Werdum immediately fired back, saying"f*ck you” several times in Portuguese, and that ignited a back and forth in Spanish. “When I’m talking you shut your mouth,” Ferguson replied. “Shut your mouth, you f*cking f****t,” Werdum responded. "Don’t talk to me like that, that’s not how it works. You can talk like that to your division but with me you can’t talk like that f****t.” Both fighters had to be separated by UFC PR man Chris Costello, and Werdum left the media lunch. “Have fun fighting on my undercard,” Ferguson said as the Brazilian wa...

Undisputed Era, what's in a name?

Courtesy of Sean Reuter of SB Nation   Adam Cole, Bobby Fish and Kyle O’Reilly’s NXT stable gets a name! They’re been causing trouble since  TakeOver: Brooklyn III  and look to be involved in two separate NXT title programs. Now, Adam Cole, Kyle O’Reilly and Bobby Fish have a stable name - possibly two! - and some merchandise. Meet The Undisputed Era. Mmm... okay. Doesn’t exactly roll off the tongue, and seems like it might be giving away the result of their feuds with Drew McIntyre and SAnitY before they even start, as having a stable with “undisputed” in their name that can’t win belts would be a bad look. I could get used to it, though. Let me know what you think of the name in the comments below!

Jon Jones The IDIOT!

Jon Jones ‘B’ sample comes back positive for steroid Jon Jones ’ drug-test failure has been officially confirmed. The ‘B’ sample taken from Jones in an in-competition collection July 28 in relation to  UFC 214  came back positive Tuesday for Turinabol, the steroid Jones tested positive for in the ‘A’ sample, MMA Fighting confirmed with UFC vice president of athlete health and performance Jeff Novitzky. ESPN was the first to report  the news. A ‘B’ sample not having the same results of the ‘A’ sample is rare. “Mr. Jones’ B sample has confirmed the A sample findings,” USADA said in a statement through a spokesperson. “Importantly — as previously stated — due process should occur before drawing any conclusions about this matter.” With the ‘B’ sample confirming the positive test, Jones will now begin his adjudication process with USADA, the UFC’s anti-doping partner. It’s unclear how long that will take. Jones’ disciplinary hearing in front of the California S...
